Kerchanshe Group has announced a landmark agreement with Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (ZGH) to become the exclusive, official distributor of Geely vehicles in Ethiopia, bringing one of the world's largest automotive groups to the Ethiopian market for the first time.
The partnership combines Geely's global automotive engineering, safety innovation and design excellence with Kerchanshe Group's more than two decades of trusted local distribution, infrastructure and after-sales expertise built across its coffee export, manufacturing, construction and heavy-equipment businesses.
Operating through Kerchanshe Group Geely, the two companies say the agreement goes beyond importing vehicles, with plans for local assembly, job creation and technology transfer in the years ahead.
