Kerchanshe Group Geely today announced the official launch of the Geely EX5 in Ethiopia, marking the first fully electric SUV to arrive under the exclusive distribution partnership between Kerchanshe Group and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
Built on Geely's dedicated electric architecture, the EX5 combines a spacious mid-size SUV body with a 60.2 kWh LFP battery rated for up to 460 km of WLTP range, Flyme Auto connectivity, ambient interior lighting and a full suite of driver-assistance features including adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking.
"The EX5 is the clearest expression yet of what this partnership means for Ethiopian drivers: genuine global engineering, backed by local sales and service support," said a Kerchanshe Group Geely spokesperson. The EX5 is available now at the Sarbet showroom in Addis Ababa, with test drives open to the public.
